Redeem presented their PEC-cell at SNOC in November 2025, showcasing the latest technological developments achieved within the project.

The presentation highlighted the cell’s key features and demonstrated the progress made in PEC cell development.

Redeem participated at the 9th International Conference on Semiconductor Photochemistry in September 2025 with a poster presentation.

HyCentA presented the poster TiO2 photoanodes for photoelectrochemical water splitting at ISEC in Graz in April 2026.

The presentation highlighted the development of the test bench and key screening results achieved within the project.

Both Fraunhofer IWS and IKTS contributed with oral presentations at 12 RIPT in June 2026 in Jülich.

Redeem participated with an oral presentation at 30th IUPAC Symposium on Photochemistry in July 2026.

Fraunhofer IWS presented a poster at Thermal Spray of Suspensions & Solutions Symposium + EBCs in September 2026.

A major milestone for the project: our first scientific publication has been published in May 2026, in the journal of power sources. Shuang Ma Andersen from SDU is the lead author of the paper, “Revisit with a New Perspective - Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) as Superior Co-Catalysts for Photocatalytic and Photoelectrocatalytic Water Splitting: from Production to Recycling”.

The publication provides a comprehensive overview of current knowledge in the field and establishes an important scientific foundation for the project’s work.
